Kelly Wade, experienced Broadway dancer, National Champion Soloist for Dance Educators of America, and, dance scholarship recipient at Adelphi University, Oneonta. Kelly comes from a long line of dancers. Her mother, Wendy Wade, owned a dance studio in Oneonta, NY and is currently a professor of dance at SUNY Oneonta State. Kelly’s grandmother also once owned a successful dance school and also danced at Barnard with Martha Graham.
Kelly’s impressive career includes success in film, television, and commercials. Her most recent work featured on the big screen includes Tyler Perry’s “Peeples” (2013), with Tilda Swinton in “We Need to Talk About Kevin” (2011), and Madonna’s “W.E.” (2011). She has been a body double for the likes of Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, and Julia Roberts. Kelly has had success on the stage in shows like: Cabaret and 42nd St, and spent 10 years playing the part of Cassie in A Chorus Line. We are thrilled that Kelly will be sharing her incredible talent and passion for dance with us here at The Studio; and we are excited to welcome her to our Studio family!
